THE HUB BENGALURUEffective 23 September 2026

    Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you use The Hub Bengaluru website, submit an application, or take part in a THB programme, stay or event.

    In short

Use the site honestly, treat people well, and confirm anything that matters before you rely on it. Programme prices and commitments are confirmed in writing before you pay.

    1. Agreement

By using thehubbengaluru.com or submitting anything through it, you agree to these terms with The Hub Bengaluru (“THB”, “we”, “us”). If you do not agree, please do not use the site or its forms.

    2. What this website is

The site describes our spaces, residencies, programmes, events and public writing. Pages are labelled to show what is running now and what is planned or experimental. Information about programmes that are not yet open is a description of intent, not an offer.

    3. Applications and enquiries

    • Submitting an application or enquiry does not create a place, a booking, or an obligation on either side.
    • We may accept or decline any application at our discretion, and we are not required to give reasons.
    • You must submit truthful information. Misrepresentation is grounds for withdrawing an offer or ending participation.
    • Application access links are personal to you, expire after seven days, and should not be shared.

    4. Prices, payment and cancellation

Prices shown on the site are indicative and may change. The price that applies to you is the one confirmed to you in writing before payment, together with the inclusions, dates and cancellation terms for that programme or stay.

    • Fees are payable in Indian Rupees unless we agree otherwise in writing.
    • Deposits secure a place and are applied against the total fee.
    • Cancellation and refund terms are set out in the written confirmation for each programme or stay, and those terms take precedence over anything on this website.
    • We may reschedule or cancel a programme, session or event. If we do, you may move to the next cohort or be refunded for the part not delivered.

    5. Using the site properly

    You agree not to:

    • Submit false, abusive, unlawful or spam content through any form.
    • Attempt to access accounts, records, admin areas or systems that are not yours.
    • Scrape, crawl or bulk-copy site content or resident information for commercial use, or use it to train a model, without our written permission.
    • Interfere with the availability or security of the site.
    • Use THB names, marks or photographs to imply an affiliation or endorsement that does not exist.

    6. Conduct in our spaces and programmes

Participation in any THB space, programme, stay or event is conditional on following our Code of Conduct. We may end participation, without refund for the remaining period, where conduct puts other people at risk.

    7. Content and intellectual property

Site content, branding, writing, photographs and programme materials belong to THB or to the people who made them. Ownership of work created during a residency or programme is covered by our IP Policy.

    9. Liability

The site is provided as it is. We take care to keep it accurate, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of this website, or from a programme or stay, is limited to the amount you paid us for that programme or stay. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

    10. Changes, governing law and contact

We may update these terms; the effective date above shows when they last changed. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction. Questions go to growth@thehubbengaluru.com.
